These are the most comfortable socks, so I re-ordered for additional pairs! They do not bind above your ankles and happily, they fit this ole gals' size 11 feet. I am not a diabetic, but someone who has been looking for comfortable socks that fit. I air-dry them after washing them on a cold wash setting along with other clothes and they did not shrink. These socks are awesome! They stretch like they are suppose to and are so very soft even after they have been washed a few times. They leave no marks on my leg from the rim of the sock either. The only problem I found with them is you can only wash them with something black or dark blue, the dye comes off a lot, but they aren't faded.

I have idiopathic neuropathy in my feet and lower legs and have had problems with socks that are too snug. Not so with these. Ordered red for the Xmas season and will be ordering in other colors and will try the quarter sock rather than the full next time. The full size fit fine but I don’t need them so far up my leg although for winter they may be great 👍

I have worn these and can give you good news. These are remarkable! They do not bind my ankles whatsoever. Yet, they don't slip down. The material is soft and cozy. My feet and ankles are not left feeling tired but refreshed. I am 59 years old and diabetic.I was hesitant at first because they are on the high end of my budget. I wore a name brand for years, Dr S. Which left marks on my ankles. And left them feeling tired. But, NOT these. If you can, try these.

They sell these as if they're all the same socks in different colors, but they are not! I first bought the Melange grey, and I have to say I was so happy I went back for the Navy - but they are not even the same size straight out of the package (see photos 1&2 melange is larger and softer than navy) and they are noticeably not as soft. Specifically, the top section of the cuff is similar loose fitting weave, but the ankle and foot is tighter. Once washed they shrunk up (photo#3 is new vs washed/shrunk) and they are too tight to wear. I know they say order true to size, but they do shrink a little and I am right at the crossover size 9 so I am glad I got the bigger one. I am lucky I bought the melange first, because at least I got socks I actually do like. But I was hoping to get other colors and now I dont think I will. I gave 3 stars because its the average of 5 stars for melange and 1 star for navy.
